Poor poor Trubbish
No one loves you
Your lot in life
It leaves you blue
Self-esteem is
A thing you lack
You are just trash
Stuffed in a sack
Smelly Trubbish
You have no friend
Connections end
You get kicked out
Of every one
Under the sun
And now to add
Injury to
Insult Grimer
Try to eat you
Poor poor Trubbish
Friendless trash bag
So depressing
Life’s such a drag
But maybe soon
You’ll have friends fair
Or you’ll evolve
And then won’t care

“I’m sorry… there’s nothing else we can do.”
As cries rang out in the hospital room, a lamp hanging from above wobbled. It watched as the spirit left the body of the deceased human.
“Mealtime, suckers!” Lampent jumped at the spirit, unseen by the living humans. A far more forceful spirit smacked the lamp and knocked him into the wall.
“Ouch!” Lampent rubbed his head. “What? Oh, it’s you!”
“Thought I told you to stop this sordid business,” Dusknoir said.
Lampent shrugged. “Hey, lamps gotta eat, right?” He shouted and blasted a vortex of fire at Dusknoir, surrounding the private eye with a Fire Spin. “Not gonna let you get in the way of–Wait, where’d you go?” No one was in the tornado of flames.
Dusknoir emerged from the shadows behind Lampent and smacked them away with a Shadow Sneak.
“Oof. You think you’re so smart, Private Eye.” Lampent hurled Shadow Balls at Dusknoir. The private eye punched them away and grabbed the new spirit into their belly.
“It’s so unfair! You get to eat spirits!”
“I release them at the end of the journey.”
“But that’s such a waste!”
Dusknoir continued to punch Lampent’s Shadow Balls away.
“And how are you even able to know where I’m gonna strike?” Lampent shouted.
“Future Sight.” As Dusknoir said these words a Psychic blast erupted against Lampent, and Dusknoir fled in the confusion.
“Curse you, Dusknoir!” Lampent shook his arm. “Curse yoooou!” A jolt of pain shot through him. “Ow wait no I DIDN’T MEAN TO USE THE MOVE CURSE–” He fainted.

Evolution of A Weird Trend in Youtube

The other day Youtube recommended a video to me, Evolution of Deleting Save Files in Kirby Games.

Well, weird, but as it’s not something many people do, it’s nice there’s a video even though it’s probably really boring.

Later I was recommended a video, Evolution of Deleting Save Files in Kirby Games.

It was by a different account.

There are no fewer than FOUR videos dedicated to that concept. Not only that, they are ALL in the same format: Evolution of [blank] in [blank] games. Where did this format of videos come from, and more importantly, WHY ARE THEY ALL NAMED THE SAME? And they were all released within several days of each other!

I seem to recall this format starting a while ago, but generally with something pretty straightforward, generally boss battles I think. “Evolution of [this boss] in [these games]”. There you can show the boss battle, then move on. But now we’re getting “Evolution of the Butterfly in Kirby Games” and it’s like… why do you even need to format the title like that? Can’t it just be like, “the butterfly’s appearances in kirby games” or “the butterfly keeps appearing in kirby, CONSPIRACY!!” Yes I am recommending people put conspiracy int their titles instead of evolution. I don’t know.

Do a search for “Evolution of * in * games” and what do you get?

Evolution of Final Attacks in Kirby games ᴴᴰ (2011 – 2018)
Evolution of Final Boss Deaths in Kirby Games (1992-2018)
Evolution of Final Bosses in Kirby Games (1992-2018)
Evolution of Spider-Man Games 1982-2018
Evolution of Rick in Kirby Games (1995 – 2018)
Evolution of Kine in Kirby Games (1995 – 2018)
Evolution of Coo in Kirby Games (1995 – 2018)

You can’t just like… Rick throughout Kirby games? Rick from Kirby? No? You have to copy? This is the new Let’s Play, isn’t it? And not only that, but what does Evolution of Rick in Kirby Games even entail?? It just… shows… footage of Rick. That’s it. That’s just. I don’t get it. This is so weird now. I suppose on this side of my considerations you could argue that some people might be looking up videos specifically to check something, maybe they’re writing or drawing fan stuff with Rick and want to see everthing, so that’s fine, in the end.

BUT CAN’T YOU CALL IT “HISTORY OF RICK IN KIRBY GAMES”?? EVOLUTION DOESN’T EVEN MAKE SENSE HERE. You’re blatantly copying the first person to use what is arguably a terrible title!

I don’t know why I’m yelling, it’s not that big a deal.

Game Review: Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Think about it. It’s been 2/3 A WHOLE YEAR SINCE THIS GAME CAME OUT. It’s been known about for almost a whole year. For almost a whole year Mario and Rabbids have been together. Yeesh.

So anyway I got this game at Clichemas and finished it like a week ago–well, I beat the final boss, anyway. I haven’t 100%ed it yet, and it’s not particularly high on my to-game list, but it’s still on there. So what are my thoughts on this game?

Well, to be honest, the Rabbids are the least problematic part of this game. They’re easy to hate, but there are a few moments where they’re good and even cute. Pretend I got the footage of that, I don’t think I ever downloaded it. No, the gameplay is worse than the Rabbids. All games of this type have randomness built in, but there were absolutely moments where I only won because luck happened, or the opponent got a lot of luck to win. And let me tell you, replaying fights is the worst. Okay, maybe not the worst, but when you do it over again you want to get going quickly and instead it just slowly pans over the area like the first time you start with no way to skip that. I’m nitpicking, perhaps, but blah blah blah.

Speaking of quickly, maybe I’m just impatient but there were many times where I moved the cursor to a spot and clicked on it to make a move, only to realize I didn’t go to the exact spot I wanted it to go to and the wrong thing happened. So that was annoying and the camera movement in the battles is kind of off, it snaps to a square but that usually just means it snaps to the square before the one you want.

The difficulty is also really weird. There were a few instances where a chapter spikes in dififculty with a hard fight that takes me several tries, and then the difficulty goes back to where it was with some pretty easy fights. I suppose it could be based on how I upgraded characters, which was usually not focused on HP because look at all this other good stuff I can get. That said, one thing annoying about the level-up system is you can actually undo all the bonuses and redistribute them, but you can’t just undo one thing at a time? Just seems like it’d be a big time waster then…

Also, when’s the DLC to play as these guys, Ubisoft?

All that said, it was a fun game and fun to look at, too, and if you like turn-based strategy games and if you like Mario, I’d recommend it. Actually, isn’t that pretty much like how Fire Emblem plays?

is fire emblem+rabbids next?

“Everyone derives their traits from their parents. That’s just genetics.”
“But just because someone’s parents are prize fighters doesn’t mean their offspring can’t become a scientist.”
“But the tools for what they do are gotten from parents. Moves and abilities are inherited.”
“But someone can learn moves that their parents never did, or even had access to.”
Geodude flung herself at Vanilluxe with a punch. The Snowstorm Pokemon floated away, both heads still arguing.
“Those moves are still not possible without what was taken from parents. A Whirlipede cannot learn Surf because its Scolipede parents cannot learn Surf.”
“But a Whirlipede can learn Solar Beam, even if its father is a Golisopod, which cannot learn Solar Beam.”
“But should its father be a Golisopod it can then learn Pin Missile, which it otherwise cannot.”
Still throughout this entire argument Geodude chased after Vanilluxe with punches.
“That only shows there are some small additions based on parents. Nurture remains more important, as Effort Values come from such.”
“But Individual Values determine the true potential of a Pokemon, and these can be inherited from the parents.”
“That potential cannot be reached without effort, however.”
“It seems we have reached an impasse, unless both have equal value.”
“It seems that must be the conclusion. Without nurture, no potential is reached.”
“But without nature, the maximum potential is unattainable.”
“So we’re in agreement, then?”
“It would seem so.”
“Good.” Vanilluxe blew Geodude away with a violent Blizzard.
