Pokemon Moon Comic 41-50: Refreshing Glass of Bugbus

It’s been a while since the last posting of these. Not doing the dayjob now means I have more time, but working heavily on the novels means I have less time. My schedule showed I should’ve had comic 50 done a week ago, since I want to do three a week… Anyway, in this group we get a couple evolutions (including one of the best gen 7 Pokemon), some new team members, and a trial. Also I would legit pay $60 for a Hey You, Wooper! game.

Pokemon Moon Comic 31-40: Completing the first island

Here’s the next ten comics from the Pokemon Moon comic. Meanwhile I’ve actually completed the main game in my actual game.

Pokemon Moon Comic 21-30: Eating and Island Trial

I’m slowing down a bit because I’m busy at the day job where I would usually draw the stuff, doing the coloring and touching-up after I got home. On the bright side, I don’t have to sell anymore at the day job, since now I’m doing customer service, which is a loooot busier than sales. No one really wants to talk to sales. Actually, no one really wants to talk to customer service either.

Anyway, comics!

Pokemon Moon Comic: 20 comics already?

A while ago I mentioned I was going to be doing a Pokemon Moon comic since I don’t have enough time to focus on editing right now. The comic really requires less focus and can be easily picked up at a later point–do a brief drawing for a few minutes, then do something else. With writing I need to spend a lot of time focused on it, and if I come back to it a while later in the middle of something then everything will be interrupted and confusing. I need to have all the time in the day available.

Well, I’m actually surprised I kept this up so far. Drawing is never something I’ve done well, and a lot of the time I give up. This, I think, is because I tried to make it look decent and also didn’t just throw it together in MS Paint. I use MS Paint and a mouse for all this. It makes it work because I don’t care as much. When there are no outlines, then you are truly free.

Unless I’m writing a book in which case freedom is confusing and goes nowhere and falls off a cliff.

If you follow my Twitter you’ll see I’ve been posting them there. You can also see them in the sidebar there. When I’m not talking politics, I guess. I’ll probably post them here on the website in batches of ten after this. As I said before, I didn’t want to fill this place with a comic every day when the focus is my original creative Cloudy Cuckoo Cosmos endeavors (although maybe I shouldn’t care about that distinction??)

Anyway, here’s the comics!

Pokemon Sun & Moon Comic: Actually Just Moon

I said I was gonna do it!

I really like spinning. I’ve said this twice now. I still don’t know if I want to post these here every day (I expect to have one nearly every day, anyway), but I do know that I will post them on Twitter as I finish them and upload them to DeviantArt. Twitter can be found at the side of the page there, and DA is here. For this weird undertaking I finally set up a new DA account under Duth Olec. I dunno where else to post it, I’ve never really felt like using Tumblr, like, at all. Maybe I could just put them on Imgur but that’d be weird. Anyway, for now, here’s a second one in the same night. I doubt I’ll do that often.

please tell me you’ve played mario & luigi: superstar saga

I’m going to go eat some food and then play some game. The funny thing about this comic endeavor is it’ll force me to slow down the playing, althoooough before I even got out of the house I had like 4 ideas including these two so yeah, I don’t even have a Pokemon yet. This’ll be a long trip.

Mini comic series coming in about a month (read: Pokemon)

The final chapter of Darmenzi releases in just over a week! We’ll see who survives and who is finished! This post isn’t about that but I just wanted to get that out of the way and also make sure everyone sees that first because it’s super important.

I’m still working on the third book Wandering Fortunes, but since I’m doing the dayjob now the time I have to work on it is really small. Last week I didn’t get any work done. I’m not sure if I even did the week before. Mostly that’s because on my days off I’ve had other things to do, but these next few weeks I plan to definitely get to work and finish chapter 6 so I can then proceed to not even bother with chapter 7 until I stop working again.

It turns out chapter 7 has a lot of stuff I need to rewrite and write in and add and stuff and so instead of going crazy trying to use what little time I have to do that, I’m going to point out that Pokemon Sun and Moon come out probably the week after I finish chapter 6 and I’m going to want to play that so I’m totally fine with putting actual work aside for then. But I’m going to want to continue to do some work.

At this point people who are interested in comics have said I have way too many words and have left.

Whenever I play a Pokemon game I end up giving my team members personalities. It just sort of happens. It probably comes with the author territory. I’ve considered doing comics about these playthroughs before, but whoops, I am terrible at art. And you know what? I don’t know if I care about that enough to not do this!

I’m even making you click a thing to see this! It’s like I just don’t care!
